I love chocolate

In this exhibition, I combine conceptual jewellery, found objects, and fragments of personal history. I am interested in how everyday objects can lose their original function and become jewellery, sculptural elements, or carriers of new narratives.
The installation includes gilded pig bladders, salmon skin, peat briquettes, towels, postcards depicting offshore oil platforms, bread, a bench, a white Soviet-era women’s uniform, photographs, wood, and other organic and everyday materials. These objects are connected to my experiences in Lithuania and Norway, while also addressing broader themes of memory, identity, and everyday culture. I am interested not only in the transformation of materials, but also in how unexpected combinations can generate new meanings and challenge the boundaries of jewellery.
